The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is recruiting for an Assistant Research Coordinator, Community Economic Development in Las Vegas, NV.
The Assistant Research Coordinator will work under the Research Coordinator in performing analysis and research activities for the Nevada Economic Assessment Project (NEAP) throughout the state. The position will support the program and efforts to strengthen the needs research and analysis methodology of NEAP, develop and improve survey and evaluation tools, and work with other NEAP personnel to create technical reports, fact sheets, and other publications. The position will assist in daily research planning; coordination of primary and secondary data collection; conducting Community Economic Development Analysis (CED) analyses; writing technical research reports; and presenting study results to state and local constituents
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related work experience ORr Master’s degree and one (1) year of related work experience Related work experience: Performing of input output economic impact modeling, basic experience with conducting CED studies including feasibility and impacts or a related field.
Travel throughout Nevada may be occasionally required to meet with stakeholders in urban and rural areas of Nevada. This includes potential overnight stays.
