The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Small Business Education Coordinator with Extension located in Las Vegas, NV. The Coordinator, Small Business Education works to further small business efforts in Southern Nevada. This unique position focuses on program development and administration. This position teaches classes tailored to community-based entrepreneurs and small business owners in Southern Nevada. The role extends beyond traditional classroom instruction, incorporating public service elements aimed at fostering the growth and success of local businesses. Duties include conducting needs analyses to determine business course needs, serving as mentor and guide for entrepreneurs, and cultivating partnerships within the service area.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience; OR Master’s degree and one (1) year of related work experience. Related Experience: in business ownership and program or business development i.e. marketing, advertising, international trade or exporting, public relations and/or promotion of small business endeavors or a related field.
