Oregon State University invites applicants for a full-time (1.00FTE), 12-month, fixed-term Assistant Professor of Practice position with theOSUAgricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Extension program in the Department of Animal and Rangeland Sciences. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Supervision Team (Eastern Regional Director, Department Head, and Program Leader).This Assistant Professor of Practice position is stationed in Baker City, Oregon and will serve Baker and Union Counties. Its academic home is the Department of Animal and Rangeland Sciences in the College of Agricultural Sciences at Oregon State University. This position contributes to the mission of the College of Agricultural Sciences, with principal responsibility for needs assessment, Extension program development, delivery, and evaluation, and for conducting applied research needed to support Extension activities.This faculty position is responsible for the Rangeland/Forage/Livestock Extension program in Baker and Union Counties. This faculty member will provide leadership in teaching, communication, and programming for rangeland, livestock, forage and natural resources using research based information. This faculty member will provide extension and applied research programming for Livestock and Natural Resources in Baker and Union counties, as well as participate in statewide and regional activities, as appropriate.Oregon State University is committed to practicing and delivery of tools for state-of-the-science interaction and engagement of partners and stakeholders.
