Description:
The Montana 4-H Foundation, founded in 1969, serves as a non-profit corporation supporting the continued development and growth of the statewide 4-H program. The generous support of donors, volunteers, businesses and community partners help make possible the many opportunities available to 4-H youth and leaders.Our mission at the Montana 4-H Foundation is to help 4-H youth by raising private funds, managing financial resources, and partnering with MSU Extension to fund educational opportunities for Montana 4-H youth, volunteer leaders, and staff.Each year, the Montana 4-H Foundation provides direct support to 20,000 4-H members and almost 4,000 volunteers . This partnership with MSU Extension and the 4-H Center for Youth Development allows many youth and leaders to participate in educational, social, and often life-changing experiences that mold them into caring and contributing citizens and community leaders.Planning, developing, implementing and evaluating an annual operational funding plan that includes maintaining and increasing individual giving and corporate sponsorships.Oversight of contracted vendors for outsourcing marketing and social media needs, as well as oversight of event planner contract. Will analyze and report financial outcomes to the 4-H Foundation Board of Directors.Responsible for grant writing and reporting, as well as growing monthly and online giving to meet 4-H goals.Designing and developing donor recognition programs, retention and renewal processes, and donation up-grade strategies.Developing and implementing effective, accurate and confidential methods for capturing and updating donor information.Proactively identify prospective major donors and conducting donor cultivation efforts.Managing reporting of all operational grants.Development of an annual communication plan that supports the annual fundraising plan; overseeing 4-H communication, including social media, and marketing efforts.Conceptualizing, updating and directing all operational donor outreach materials (brochures, electronic communications, and website content).Proactively seek advantageous partnerships with community businesses, vendors and individuals.Work with the Executive Director to prepare the annual 4-H Operational Budget.Assuring compliance for data management, web site usage, donor management, and events.
