Position: Assistant Professor of Agricultural & Resource Economics. This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure track position with a 75% Extension and 25% research appointment. Responsibilities: *Develop and deliver a nationally recognized statewide integrated Extension and research program focused on farm and financial management *Use traditional and innovated tools to educate a diverse audience including county Extension agents, area Extension specialists, state and federal agencies, state industry and producer groups *Acquire extramural funding to support, develop and deliver Extension and research programs *Publish peer reviewed Extension publications and articles in other appropriate outlets *Publish in high quality disciplinary and multi-disciplinary journals *Work with UTIA faculty, including multi-disciplinary teams, MANAGE Program Coordinator,county agents, area specialists and other UT personnel *Mentor and supervise graduate and undergraduate students *Provide leadership to state level 4-H programs as appropriate *Participate in the service activities of the Department, Institute, University and profession

Minimum education level :
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics or closely related field. The successful candidate will have excellent research, quantitative, and communication skills, a willingness to work in multidisciplinary teams, and an understanding of agricultural production systems.
