The primary focus of the instructional design position will be to work collaboratively with the Training Coordinator, Editor, Graphic Designers and Subject Matter Experts to design and develop learner-focused, performance-based learning solutions to meet project needs. The ERC is a unit within Cooperative Extension Service and the Community, Natural Resource and Economic Development (CNRED) program area.

Exceptional written, verbal, critical thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency creating videos with emphasis on scripting, storyboarding, editing, closed captioning and outputting in multiple video formats using industry standard software such as Adobe Captivate, Premiere Pro or ArticulateExperience developing courses in a variety of learning management systemsUnderstanding of AICC/SCORM standardsFamiliarity with Section 508 Standards and/or universal design for learning principlesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyHighly organized and able to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentAbility to lead and collaborate actively with others on cross-functional teams
